CVE-2016-9557

Published: 23 March 2017

Integer overflow in jas_image.c in JasPer before 1.900.25 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted file.

Notes

AuthorNote
mdeslaur
fix is too intrusive for stable releases, and there is no crash
unless jasper is built with ASAN. For these reasons, we will not
be fixing this issue. Marking as ignored.
